Agreement to Terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Beacon's AI workflow automation platform and related services (the "Service") operated by Beacon ("we," "us," or "our").

By accessing or using our Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you disagree with any part of these Terms, then you may not access the Service.

Description of Service

Beacon is an AI-powered workflow automation platform that enables users to:

  • Create and deploy AI agents for various tasks
  • Automate workflows across multiple applications and services
  • Integrate with third-party platforms and APIs
  • Monitor and manage automated processes
  • Collaborate with team members on workflow projects

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time with reasonable notice.

User Accounts

To use certain features of the Service, you must create an account. You agree to:

  • Provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration
  • Maintain and promptly update your account information
  • Maintain the security of your account credentials
  • Accept responsibility for all activities under your account

AI and Automation Responsibilities

When using our AI agents and automation features, you acknowledge and agree that:

  • You are responsible for the configuration and actions of your AI agents
  • You must monitor automated workflows and their outputs
  • AI-generated content may not always be accurate or appropriate
  • You must comply with all applicable laws when automating tasks
  • You are responsible for any consequences of automated actions
  • You must respect rate limits and usage policies of integrated services

Subscription and Billing

Some features of the Service may require a paid subscription. By subscribing, you agree to:

  • Pay all applicable fees as described in your chosen plan
  • Provide accurate billing information
  • Keep your payment information current
  • Accept automatic renewal unless cancelled

We reserve the right to change our pricing at any time with reasonable notice. If you cancel your subscription, you may continue to use paid features until the end of your current billing period.

Refunds are provided at our discretion and in accordance with our refund policy.

Intellectual Property

The Service and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by Beacon and are protected by international copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, and other intellectual property laws.

You retain ownership of any content you create or upload to the Service. By using the Service, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to use, store, and process your content as necessary to provide the Service.

You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of our Service without our express written permission.

  • Cost of substitute services

Our total liability for any claims related to the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Beacon and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising from your use of the Service, violation of these Terms, or infringement of any third-party rights.

Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account and access to the Service at any time, with or without cause, with reasonable notice. You may also terminate your account at any time by contacting us.

Upon termination, your right to use the Service will cease immediately. We may retain certain information as required by law or for legitimate business purposes.

Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction where Beacon is incorporated, without regard to conflict of law principles.

Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Service shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of a recognized arbitration organization, except that either party may seek injunctive relief in court for intellectual property disputes.

Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated Terms on our website and updating the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the Service after any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision will be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary so that the remaining Terms will remain in full force and effect.
